Michelle joined the Lab in 2023 as an undergraduate intern. She graduated from the City College of NY with a B.S. in Earth Systems Science and is currently pursuing her Masters in Earth and Atmospheric Science. Michelle’s research interests include ecosystem dynamics, coastal ecology, physics/optics, satellite data processing, and conservation. Michelle’s current work in the lab focuses on the impacts of anthropogenic stressors on phytoplankton community structure and biogeochemical cycles in coastal estuaries.
